Gastroenterologist Marc D. Hopkins, M.D. has joined the medical staff of Merit Health Biloxi.
Dr. Hopkins joins Merit Health from Keesler Medical Center where he practiced in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He graduated from Grove City College in Grove City, PA with a degree in Biology. Dr. Hopkins obtained his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA in 2003. He then completed his residency and training at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA and Keesler Medical Center. Dr. Hopkins also completed a fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. He has authored several publications and volunteered in many community organizations throughout his career. He has been a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States, the American Medical Student Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Gastroenterology Association.
